We, the graduate student employees of NIU, have no way to bargain with the university for better treatment or pay. The professors at NIU and the graduate student employees at every other major institution in Illinois all have organized unions. It’s time we join them and exercise our right to collective bargaining. We’re fighting for quality healthcare, fair pay, and no more institutional fees.
We are the Graduate Student Employee Union. Join us in our fight!
